We love having our students back on campus today! 🍎🍏👩🏫🍎🍏 We had a great 1st day. Parents, be sure to bring your ID to walk your students in tomorrow (Friday 8/8/25)! Monday we will ask you to drop them off in the car line.

We’re so excited to see all of you tomorrow for the first day of school! Get some good rest tonight and come ready to shine bright and bold, with bells on!
Please remember that elementary students may be walked in starting at 7:25am, the parent/guardian must have an ID in order to sign in at the office.
Let’s make this year amazing from day one!

We would like to say thank you to the many groups who have made this year's professional development special for our staff.
Breakfast on Monday was provided by Ochoa & Coleman Orthodontics. Our staff enjoyed a spread of bagels and doughnuts that hit the spot. What a sweet treat to have them in our community.
The Yantis Masonic Lodge cooked a delicious full breakfast for us on Tuesday. We always look forward to this each year.
A taco salad lunch Tuesday was wonderful and was provided by Sulphur Springs First Baptist at the ROC in Sulphur Springs.
Our full breakfast today was amazing and prepared by First Baptist Yantis. They even had drawings for gift cards!
Thank you so much to our community for supporting us, always.

Yantis ISD Device Policy

Yantis ISD kicked off our 2025-2026 school year today with a moving message from keynote speaker, Dr. Andrew Seigrist. Superintendent, Dr. James Cowley, welcomed and addressed the staff about our vision for the coming year with a message titled, WE HOLD THE KEYS. A Chick-Fil-A breakfast was provided by Shelly Ogle and the Yantis Federal Credit Union. Mrs. Ogle along with Mrs. Quinn sang our Yantis School song for us, as well. A full BBQ lunch, prepared by Andy and Mary Lou Wright, was sponsored by Ammie Saucier and the City National Bank Yantis branch. First Baptist Church Yantis and Seymour Bible Fellowship put together a DIY spaghetti dinner for all staff to take home for dinner. Thank you so much to all that people that helped make this first day back amazing! We are excited to get this new year started!
