Tomorrow let us honor the memory of 9/11 by wearing red, white, and blue, as we stand united and remember the lives lost and the resilience of our great nation. #neverforget

After consideration, Yantis ISD Board of Trustees has voted to reschedule Spring Break to the week of March 17-21. This was done to align our Spring Break with Tyler Junior College where many of our high school students are enrolled in dual credit courses.

In October we wear PINK!
Forms will go home with elementary students today and are available in the HS office. You can also order directly using the instructions listed on the attached form.

Picture Day Info

Thank you to everyone who stayed out in the rain for our Junior High baseball boys yesterday.
Coach Easley and Coach Lopez reported:
We saw progress in everyone's game. Communication was better for us as well as being in the correct spot. We will continue to teach fundamental baseball to correct the little things. Nelson pitched two innings giving us the strikes we needed. Ed and Alex recorded a big out from right field to 1st base. Leo scored an important run for us. Casen and Hayden worked extremely both pitching and catching during the game. Our boys learned some valuable lessons in this game such as leadership and doing the little things right.
We look forward to taking on Fruitvale Monday September 9th in Fruitvale starting at 4:30PM.
Our girls played hard last night against Greenville PTAA. The Junior Varsity Squad battled and won their game in three sets. Our Varsity Squad made major improvements this week in communication, serving, and rallies. They fought hard in four sets but came up short. We are proud of our girls for their hard work this week and we invite everyone to show up this Friday as we host Ector @5:00pm!

Yantis Owl Weekly for September 2-6, 2024:

Our Lady Owl Volleyball teams played with heart last night and gave it everything they had. We're proud of the teamwork they displayed. There's always something to learn from every game, and we'll use this as motivation to come back stronger next week. Let's all post positive encouragement for our girls to let them know we are proud of them for never giving up.

Look at our 2nd grade scholars working hard to identify 2 and 3 syllable words! 💙

Long weekend ahead..... No school on Monday.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the businesses that have generously sponsored and supported our athletic program! Your commitment and investment makes a world of difference to our athletes, coaches, staff and entire YISD community.
Thank you once again for your generosity!

Despite giving it their all, our volleyball JV and Varsity teams came up short in tonight's match against Fate PTAA. We're proud of their effort and determination.
On to the next game—Tuesday night at 5:00 PM in Paris, Texas against Trinity Christian Academy. Let’s keep pushing forward and get that win!

Yantis Owls Weekly for August 26-30, 2024

Yesterday's game was full of energy from our boys, especially in the dugout while we were batting. Paul Davenport threw well the first two innings, recording multiple strikeouts and allowing one earned run. In the 3rd inning, Miller Grove hit the ball hard scoring 7 runs on 4 hits. Nelson Camacho and Alex Rodriguez made a great play from shortstop to first, recording a big out. Haydn McLane and Nelson both pitched in the game for their first time. We had a few boys put the ball in play. We have practice today to make corrections and adjustments before we play Avery on Monday August 26th. We had a huge crowd and look forward to playing at home again on September 3rd against Harts Bluff.
