Our Yantis boys battled Friday in a double header against Sulphur Bluff. In the first game we came back in the bottom of the 7th to tie it 2-2. We lost 3-2 in 8 innings. In the second game we were down 4-1 by the 6th inning but couldn't get the job done in the 7th. Our boys showed so much grit and heart throughout 5 hours of baseball. Go Owls!

We had an out of this world solar experience on 4-8-24! Thank you to all the students, teachers and staff that made it possible. We were totally swept away by the eclipse's brilliance!
Due to inclement weather, today's baseball is cancelled and we will let you know when we reschedule.
Our Yantis ISD Golf Team proudly wears their new golf shirts in loving memory of Mr. Terry Thompson, who brought joy and laughter to his family and friends. Standing with the team is his sweet wife who always supports our kids and faculty. A heartfelt donation was made in his honor to the team.
Though Mr. Thompson may no longer be with us in person, his legacy lives on through acts of kindness like this. Let's keep him and the Thompson family in our hearts as we cheer on our Yantis Athletes.

It's not often the teachers get to enjoy lunch together but today was a special day! Thank you Yantis Subway for helping to feed our teachers on the special solar eclipse day!
Parents: Please remember to send a towel to sit on and water bottle with your student for Eclipse Day, Monday, April 8th.
Also, please remember that our parking lots will be closed from 10:30AM to 2:30PM to prevent unwanted visitors from outside of our community from being on campus. Both entrances will be monitored by attendants if you need access to your child. This will ensure the safety of all students.

TOMORROW afternoon Lifetouch will be here to take sports pictures for MS and HS basketball (boys and girls), HS baseball, and golf. There are no forms to be sent out or online ordering - everyone will take individual pictures as well as the team photos then proofs will be sent home with ordering info.
