Dear Yantis ISD Family,
We want to inform you that classes will resume as scheduled tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17, 2024. The roads and bridges have been checked and are clear. Busses will run their routes on a normal schedule.
We also want to kindly remind parents to ensure that their children are dressed appropriately for the weather conditions. Layered clothing, jackets, hats, and gloves are recommended to keep everyone warm during commutes to and from school and throughout the day.
Our top priority remains the well-being and comfort of our students, especially during the cold weather conditions. Stay warm and we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!
If there are any changes or updates, we will communicate promptly through our Facebook page, app, Remind, and Alerts.

No School Monday!

Today is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, and we want to recognize someone special. We are excited to have Officer Jesus Sandoval as our Yantis ISD Police Chief. Officer Sandoval comes to us with several years experience and is a Yantis ISD Alumni. He is an asset to our school, and we are so thankful to have him on our team.

We are so excited to see you all in the morning! Be sure to bundle up!

Attention Parents—If your child exhibits any of the following gifted traits and you wish to nominate them for our gifted/talented program, please stop by the office for a referral packet. I have also attached a chart showing the difference between a bright child and a gifted learner. This referral and testing process will be for the kids who fall on the gifted side of the chart.

Kind, Thoughtful and Hardworking are just a few ways to describe these amazing students! Very deserving of their Positive Office Referrals!

Today we celebrate the end of the 2nd nine weeks with our Perfect Attendance Winners! Congratulations little owls! 💙🦉💙

Tomorrow is early release at 1:00!

Yantis Elementary invites you to join us for a Winter Wonderland. Pre-K-5th grades will be performing classic Christmas carols as well as a few special performances by student groups at the elementary. Come and join us on Tuesday, December 19th at 6 pm in the Elementary Gym. We look forward to seeing you all here.

SCHEDULE OF TONIGHT'S GAMES

Bus 10 driven by Mr. Mark Thomas is running 20-25 minutes behind on some students this afternoon. Please be patient and have a great weekend.
