Today our Principles of Ag class is learning all about the FFA Emblem and what each part represents. They had fun making their own emblem and then getting to eat them!

Hi All, Our Owls faced off Thursday in a tight battle with Miller Grove finishing in a tie 4-4. Our Owls came out ready to play, scoring the first two runs early. The runs were scored by 8th graders Tyler Jenkins and Traityn Kenemore. Kenemore led the way pitching for our Owls with multiple strikeouts- only giving up two runs. Paul Davenport was excellent behind the plate in the extreme heat. The game was tied early in the 2nd inning at 2-2. Ourowls battled back with the top of the lineup in the 3rd inning, scoring 2 more runs making it 4-2 Owls. Tyler Jenkins came in to pitch the bottom of the 3rd inning allowing 2 runs on 1 hit. When time had expired, the game ended in a tie 4-4. After a short break, our younger boys got to play in a scrimmage. For most of these athletes, this was their first time to experience playing. Our Owls were putting the ball in play with Daniel Szitar getting his first hit. Coach E and I would like to thank everyone that came out to support our Owls in Miller Grove. Monday, August 28th at 4:30 your Owls take on Avery at Home. We would love to see everyone there! Thank you for your support, Cody Easley
