What an exciting night for our Yantis Owl Basketball teams against CHESS! 🏀
Our JV Boys played with heart and gave it their all, even though the win wasn’t in the cards this time.
Our Varsity Girls came out strong, winning their first game with an impressive score of 42-15! 🎉
The Varsity Boys capped off the night with a big win, finishing 74-41! 💥

Elementary students may wear their costumes to school tomorrow.
Please do not allow students to bring a mask, props and no inflatable costumes. All students need to have a change of clothes or a set of clothes under their costumes.
Middle School and High School students may wear their costumes to school tomorrow as well. No masks, props or inflatable costumes are allowed.
Fresh Eggs for Sale!
The chickens in our high school ag department's farm project are laying jumbo eggs and you can buy them. There is a box near the elementary school's gate with an honor system pay box attached to it, and they cost $5 per dozen eggs. Cash or checks can be made payable to Yantis ISD.
Please return empty cartons to the same box so we can reuse them.
Our chickens get lots of exercise and eat quality feed, hen scratch and fresh food from our cafeteria leftovers. All proceeds from egg sales go into our Agriculture program.

Last night our Middle School boys and girls kicked off the basketball season with a win against the CHESS Knights, with scores of 22-12 and 23-16 respectively. We are so proud of these athletes for their determination and for showing off the skills they have worked so hard to learn.

Join us tonight for lots of food, fun, and games. The stew begins at 5pm and is located inside the ag shop fence. Games, fun and more begin at 6pm in the old gym and cafeteria. We can't wait to see you there, and thank you for supporting our YISD students.
Last night we celebrated our 2025 Senior volleyball players, Faith Glenn and Maddie Tabraham, in our last home game against the Fruitvale Bobcats. Our girls have greatly improved their volleyball skills this season and we are so proud of the team's accomplishments.

Several of our floral students competed at their first floral competition today in Miller Grove. All of our students did great! In the Beginner Division, Jackson Hurley placed 9th, bringing home a banner. In the Pro Advanced Division, Courtney Shelton got honorable mention, bringing home a prize. They all look forward to their next competition!
