Last night our Middle School boys and girls kicked off the basketball season with a win against the CHESS Knights, with scores of 22-12 and 23-16 respectively. We are so proud of these athletes for their determination and for showing off the skills they have worked so hard to learn.

Join us tonight for lots of food, fun, and games. The stew begins at 5pm and is located inside the ag shop fence. Games, fun and more begin at 6pm in the old gym and cafeteria. We can't wait to see you there, and thank you for supporting our YISD students.
Last night we celebrated our 2025 Senior volleyball players, Faith Glenn and Maddie Tabraham, in our last home game against the Fruitvale Bobcats. Our girls have greatly improved their volleyball skills this season and we are so proud of the team's accomplishments.

Several of our floral students competed at their first floral competition today in Miller Grove. All of our students did great! In the Beginner Division, Jackson Hurley placed 9th, bringing home a banner. In the Pro Advanced Division, Courtney Shelton got honorable mention, bringing home a prize. They all look forward to their next competition!

We wanted to inform you that an ambulance was called to the school today as a precaution for a student who had a minor injury on the playground. The student is doing well, and there is no cause for concern. We always prioritize safety and take necessary steps to ensure all students are cared for properly.

The District Cross Country Meet took place on Wednesday, October 9th in North Hopkins and our runners did an awesome job.
Abby Neal placed 5th at district and qualified for regionals that will be held October 21st at Joe Pool Lake.
