Exciting update from our Ag Mechanics Department! Our students are hard at work building a new chicken coop for the school. This hands-on project will not only enhance their skills but also provide a valuable learning experience about animal care and sustainable practices for our elementary students. Our Culinary students will also benefit from the fresh eggs. Stay tuned for updates as we make progress on this cluck-tastic addition to our campus

Letter from the Superintendent

Last night was intense on the volleyball court! We won one and lost one in two incredibly close games, but the girls played with unmatched teamwork and determination. Great effort was shown from everyone, and we are looking forward to bringing our A-game Friday night in Harts Bluff at 5:00!
Go Owls!!
Yantis ISD Student of the Month and Employee of the Month for September 2024

Today was our first Superintendent's Advisory Counsel meeting! We can't wait to see what ideas these students share this year.

Our mission at Yantis ISD includes involving our community in educating our students. Yesterday, our FFA hosted an ice cream social for future FFA members. We also had a meeting for our My Maria's group to discuss upcoming events. Yantis ISD loves interacting with our community!!

Stop the Bleed Training Canceled for Thursday, September 12th
Hopkins County EMS has been deployed to the coast to help with the anticipated relief from Hurricane Francine. Therefore, we will reschedule our grade 7-12 Stop the Bleed training at a later date. Thank you to the Hopkins County EMS for their service.
Tomorrow let us honor the memory of 9/11 by wearing red, white, and blue, as we stand united and remember the lives lost and the resilience of our great nation. #neverforget

After consideration, Yantis ISD Board of Trustees has voted to reschedule Spring Break to the week of March 17-21. This was done to align our Spring Break with Tyler Junior College where many of our high school students are enrolled in dual credit courses.

In October we wear PINK!
Forms will go home with elementary students today and are available in the HS office. You can also order directly using the instructions listed on the attached form.
