Our Lady Owl Volleyball teams played with heart last night and gave it everything they had. We're proud of the teamwork they displayed. There's always something to learn from every game, and we'll use this as motivation to come back stronger next week. Let's all post positive encouragement for our girls to let them know we are proud of them for never giving up.

Yantis Owls Weekly for August 26-30, 2024

Yesterday's game was full of energy from our boys, especially in the dugout while we were batting. Paul Davenport threw well the first two innings, recording multiple strikeouts and allowing one earned run. In the 3rd inning, Miller Grove hit the ball hard scoring 7 runs on 4 hits. Nelson Camacho and Alex Rodriguez made a great play from shortstop to first, recording a big out. Haydn McLane and Nelson both pitched in the game for their first time. We had a few boys put the ball in play. We have practice today to make corrections and adjustments before we play Avery on Monday August 26th. We had a huge crowd and look forward to playing at home again on September 3rd against Harts Bluff.

Look at these little owls make learning fun! 🤩 So proud of all their work this week.

Attendance Matters!
Reminder: School buses run before and after school and even during the school day for school trips. Help our drivers keep our students safe. Never go around a stopped school bus that has flashing lights on. Thank you!
