1st Place – District 15 2A Cross Country Champion!
We are SO proud of you and all your hard work!

Time to relax and recharge so we can come back ready to learn!

What a busy week at Y.E.S.
We want to thank the Pilot Club of Quitman for putting on the Bike Rodeo and Safety Puppet show for our 1st and 2nd graders! We ❤️ this annual event! We also had the Big Kahuna Party bus for our top fundraisers, and 2nd graders were able to taste the flavors of Greece to finish off their unit over Greek mythology. Then, we finished Friday off with a Pink Out pep rally where the staff played a friendly game of volleyball against the 2026 Senior class! What a great week to be an OWL!

Fun and adventure are just a page away.
Tales of magic and mysteries too,
A book for everyone, maybe even two!

Picture Day will be rescheduled! We realized it falls during Red Ribbon Week, and we want all students to enjoy participating in the fun dress-up days without any conflicts.
New dates will be posted ASAP. Stay tuned!
Elementary: October 21
Middle & High School: October 22
This year, we’re excited to be working with Creative Edge Media for all our school photos! Ordering information and photo galleries will be available after picture day at gallery.cepicture.com. So, forms will not be sent out and money will not be collected before or on picture day.

HB 6 requires TEA to “…prepare and provide to each school district a report identifying each law relating to school discipline that was amended or added by the 89th Legislature, Regular Session, 2025.” [Section 22, HB 6]. It further requires each district to provide the report to each student and parent or guardian.
To comply with the statutory reporting requirement, TEA has prepared a document designed for families to explain the general requirements of student discipline and laws that were recently changed.
Click on the link below to see a copy of the Overview of School Discipline for Parents document. A Spanish translation of the document will be published soon.
